Registering on the 4U gives you access too many activities from listing a business to adding a recipe.
Registration is FREE, quick and easy. All we require you to do is fill in a simple registration form before you can start enjoying 4U.

As part of the registration process you will receive an email from us confirming your email address. Once you have received this email simply click on the link to activate your membership.
If the link doesn't work in the email try copying and pasting it directly to the URL in your browser address.
If you haven’t received a confirmation email you will need to check that your junk mail settings aren't blocking our emails.
It would be a good idea to add mailer@4u.co.nz to your address book or @4u.co.nz as a favourite domain so you receive all emails from 4U.
Once you have completed this you can re-send your confirmation email.

Adding a listing is quick, easy and FREE, 1 to 5 steps depending on the listing type.
Select Your Category Listing
This is where you select the best category’s that suit your listing.
Example: List a business, if you were a boat dealer that specialized in yachts you would more than likely select the following nesting level,
Boats > Boat Dealers > Yacht Dealers
Listing Details
This is where we gather all the relevant information about your listing.
The more information / images the better, it will give your listing more strength and character, it also helps for a better search result.
Depending on the type of listing, the information that will be asked of you will include details such as listing name, contact details, listing description etc.
Image Uploads
Most listings allow you to upload images, 1 to 12 images can be uploaded depending on the listing,
Classifieds 12 photos 1 logo
Business 6 photos 1 logo
Jobs 1 logo
Recipes 1 photo
Events 1 photo
All images have to be a GIF or JPG file under 500 Kb and 500 x 500 pixels in size.
Listing Confirmation
This is the final step and is where you confirm that all information is correct
At any time during the listing process you have the option to go back and make changes, you can do this by either clicking on the steps at the top of the page or using the previous button on the bottom of the page.
Edit / Delete Listing
You can edit all listings and delete most, except recipes & tips, from within MY4U.
List A 4U
You can search for a listing by using keywords or by browsing the category selections.
Keywords
Keyword search boxes are located on all 4U home pages; you can also search for an item 4 sale or business / services using the quick search box located on the top left hand corner of every page.
Browsing
4U has a comprehensive category, sub category selection located on the left hand side of most pages.
Depending on the type of listing a listing can be listed from 90 days to eternally,

4U allows registered members to report a listing that may contain content which is offensive.
The member will be required to select an offence i.e. nudity, foul language and will need to give a short detailed description of what is wrong with the listing
Please note: Content will not be removed automatically, but we will review your feedback and the page if necessary.
Please note, 4U administration will not enter into any correspondence regarding any listing
Changing your email address is easy. You have to login and select My4U > My Profile > Change Email.
Once you have requested an update we will send you an email to confirm your new email address.
Continue to use your current email address to login until you confirm the change.
Your current email address, once changed, cannot be used by another member.
If you cannot remember your password, you can request that a temporary password be sent to you via email.
Using the temporary password and email address you can login and select My4U > My Profile > Change Password and reset your password to one you can easily remember.
You can request a new activation email be sent to you by clicking on
Re-send Activation Email.
4u Display Advert
Placing a display advert on 4U is easy, you have two options available,
- Send us a copy of one of your adverts and we will cut and crop it to suit at no charge
- Or for a small charge of $499.99 + GST we can create a display advert 4U
When the display advert has been cut and cropped or created it will be sent
to you via email for your approval.
We will require a start date, duration period and which directory eg: Bikes4U to run your advert.
Adverts are displayed for 24 hours and cost $39.99 + GST per day with a minimum
period of 5 days.

Send us your company name, website address and short description (max character 65)
We will require a start date, duration period and which directory eg: Bikes4U to run your advert.
Ad links are displayed for 24 hours and cost $1.99 + GST per day with a minimum
period of 30 days.
4U only accepts direct credit or phone credit card payments.
